James says we don't have because we don't ask, so I'm asking for disciples to train and my family to be saved and living for God. I'm asking for God's help to live holy and his strength to do the right thing. I'm asking to be a good pastor to my church and a good husband to my wife. I'm asking for healing my body and mental clarity in my mind. Rather than assume that I have it, I'm asking for grace and mercy to help me in times of trouble, temptation, and triumph. Trouble because I stress out, temptation because I fail too often, and triumph because I tend towards self pride. God, grant these petitions and forgive my sins.
